Summer Reading Club
What is the Summer Reading Club?
The Summer Reading Club is an annual program in July & August held at the library. Studies show that kids experience learning loss over the summer months, and summer reading programs are a proven tool to help bridge the summer gap between school years and to maintain academic achievement. Our program is open to readers of all ages, from kids to seniors.
For every hour read and logged on Beanstack, registrants will earn a virtual ticket that can be put towards a grand prize of their choosing. Readers who log reading each week will also be automatically entered to win weekly prizes. (Stay tuned to see what prizes are up for grabs!) You can also earn extra entries by completing the activity of the week on Beanstack.
