Library Membership

Patrons of all ages can register for a Hinton Municipal Library membership in person or remotely by phone or online.

Register Online

Completing the remote library registration form will allow you to access library resources temporarily for 2 months. We will need you to visit us in person to pick up your physical library card and show a piece of government ID with your Hinton or Yellowhead County address listed. At that time, we can change your membership to a full-year standard access account.

HINTON MUNICIPAL LIBRARY CARD - FREE with a lending limit of any 40 items

TEMPORARY LOCAL LIBRARY CARD - FREE (expires after 6 months) with a lending limit of any 5 LOCAL LIBRARY items ONLY

To access your account or use online resources enter your barcode (with no spaces) and your PIN (last four digits of your phone number).
