How do I view my account online?

Visit the library catalogue or download the free TRACpac app on your mobile device.

What's my password?

Your PIN is originally set to be the last four digits of your phone number. This would have been set when you first registered for your account. If you're having trouble, contact us at the library and we can reset your password for you!

Are there fines?

The Hinton Municipal Library proudly went fine free on January 1st, 2023. This means you will not receive fines if your library materials are returned late. However, if the items have not been returned 1 month past the due date, they will be considered "lost" and you will be charged the replacement cost. Fear not! Once you return the item, the replacement fee will disappear.

How do I access digital content?

Your library card grants you access to over 30 different e-resources, including e-books, audio books, and much more. Check out the full selection here!

Can I drop off items after hours?

We have a 24-hour book drop beside our front doors! Drop stuff off any time!

Do you have free Wi-Fi?

Yes! Our Wi-Fi is free for everyone, whether you have a library card or not. Just find "Library Wireless." There's no password, but there should be a pop-up for you to accept our terms and conditions.

Can I use a computer?

We have eight public computers for anyone use for free! Just talk to us at the front desk to get a sign-in code. We also have laptops available for in-library use, and to check out and take home. Inquire at the front desk!
