Attention library patrons! We are thrilled to announce that the Hinton Municipal Library will be undergoing renovations from October 13 to 18, 2024. During this time, we will close our doors to enhance the children’s area with new shelves, furniture, and fun surprises designed to create an inviting space for our youngest readers.
In addition to the upgrades in the children’s section, we are also excited to introduce new study spaces for students, providing them with a comfortable environment to focus and learn. This renovation period will also allow us to reorganize various sections of the library, integrating collections to improve accessibility and enhance your browsing experience.
While we are busy transforming our library, please note that all office services, such as printing, faxing, and computer access, will be unavailable. Additionally, patrons will not be able to browse the library or pick up holds during this closure. We encourage everyone to stock up on their reading materials before the renovation begins, ensuring you have plenty to enjoy at home!
The outside drop box will remain open, so feel free to return any books during the closure. And remember, we do not charge late fines, so there’s no need to worry!
If you have any questions or concerns, our staff will be available to answer phones, emails, and social media messages from 11:00am to 5:00pm each day during the closure. Please note that we will be unavailable on Monday, October 14th, as our staff will be off for Thanksgiving.
